Chillex Pacific was formed in 2008 to carry out building services, contracting and engineering management throughout the South Pacific.
The key fact driving the success of the Pacific business is our ability to match our experienced project management team with local JV partners.
To date Chillex Pacific have completed an installation in the Kingdom of Tonga that involved installing a full VAV air-conditioning system for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Our success with this project has led to water chiller installations in Tahiti and significant maintenance work in Tonga and Samoa.
Chillex Pacific completed a full HVAC design for a bank in Vladivostok Russia. Our team re-commissioned the existing water chillers while on-site to operate correctly at cold ambient temperatures.
In 2006 Chillex Pacific were asked to joint venture with a local company in the Philippines to build a Temple Meeting House and a Patron Housing building. The services carried out included plumbing, fire and HVAC.
Chillex Pacific have also undertaken various emergency HVAC repair jobs in Tahiti, Tonga and Samoa under relatively difficult conditions.
Chillex Pacific retrofitted a York water chiller in Apia, Samoa for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
More recently Chillex Pacific undertook a successful rebuild of the Fiji Temple in Suva. Chillex Pacific partnered with a local company to provide our client extensive local knowledge combined with our project management expertise.
Our in-house engineering team value engineered the project and in conjunction with key New Zealand manufacturers we supplied and installed a purpose built Mitsubishi Electric VRF AHU system. Our scope on this project covered mechanical, plumbing, E4M and BMS controls.
